Hi, I am using this command to clear a range of data in excel

Worksheets("approved").Range("A5:U250").ClearContents

but it is showing me an error.

Does anybody know why or what I am doing wrong?

Excel Facts

Why does 9 mean SUM in SUBTOTAL?
It is because Sum is the 9th alphabetically in Average, Count, CountA, Max, Min, Product, StDev.S, StDev.P, Sum, VAR.S, VAR.P.
that line of code should work

have you got the code in a module or a sheet? linked to say a command button

is you have got the code in a sheet then move it to a module this should work

If you error is a "subscript out of range" error

then most probably your worksheet name is not the same as that specified in the code
