Hi friends,

Can someone help me with working out a formula for the below, my head is hurting from getting wrong a few times.

Column A is a Yes or No
Column B is a number 1 to 4
Column C needs to be a formula that returns the following

"Code 1" if column b is 2 and column a is yes
"Code 2" if column b is 2 and column a is no
"Code 3" if column b is 3 and column a is yes
"code 4" if column b is 3 and column a is no

Many thanks,
Irwell

Excel Facts

Why are there 1,048,576 rows in Excel?
The Excel team increased the size of the grid in 2007. There are 2^20 rows and 2^14 columns for a total of 17 billion cells.
What happens if B is 1 or 4?
Also what happens if A or B are blank?

Nothing if one or 4, no formulas kick in if A or B are blank. Think I've done it now though, thank you for responding.
