In Excel 2013, I have macros saved in my personal.xls sheet so that they are available to me at all times and in all Excel sheets. Some of these macros I have linked to buttons on the Quick Access Toolbar.

How do I force the Quick Access Toolbar to show all my buttons at all times? For example, when I click on an active pivot table and the "PIVOTTABLE TOOLS" design box pops up, it overlaps my Quick Access Toolbar and forces some of my right most buttons to disappear and only be available as a drop down menu.

Format cells as date
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+3 to format cells as date. (Shift 3 is the # sign which sort of looks like a small calendar).
