For learning VBA, I recommend VBA & Macros for Microsoft Excel. It assumes that you know Excel, and will take you up the VBA learning curve.
If you are a visual learner, the Slide Your Way Through Excel VBA offers a visual tour through VBA.
Once you know VBA, the examples in Holy Macro! It's 2,500 Excel VBA Examples and Office VBA Macros You Can Use Today will provide insight to further your code writing.
