Question with 3 or 4 condition Vlookup & Index Formula

Dear Friend !


I have a char and i want to find barcode of each Article, As you can see in my exel table , many article have same article number , name , and Unit but they have many different barcode number because their unit is not same .
The problem is when i use vlookup or Index & match formular with 2 condition they work good . But when i add one more condition, they fasle. You can see in L column and M column
Hope you guys will help me stolve this formular with 3 or 4 condition

You formulae work for me. When copied down you get barcodes from row 22 onwards.
The top rows don't have a match for all 3 conditions

Hi ngh,

A simple solution would be to add a column next to your first table with the formula for that being; =A3&B3&C3 and drag that down.

You can than do an index match and reference that column instead of the data columns if you know what i mean?

The final index match formula looks like; =INDEX(D3:D118,MATCH(G3&H3&I3,E3:E118))

You can then hide the column if you would like.

That is giving incorrect answers.
The first row returns 8935597 from row 116, which has no resemblance to the article or name.
If you change the formula to an exact match, you get exactly the same as the OP's formula.
