I have a question regarding the refresh of the powerpivot table.
Data source is a sheet ( Data ) which is linked to SQL server query and it is refreshed with the latest sales data.
I have used this sheet as a source for powerpivot table ( Table1 ) which is then used for a pivottable report
with all the relevant sales data ( month, year as filter fields ) and the rest of the pivottable report
( location, profit, margin ) is converted to field with formula ( CUBEVALUE.. ) and later used for monthly report in another sheet.
Everything works great when I'm comparing months/dates in the past, but when I try to refresh the
first sheet with new data, Excel reports the error: cannot complete operation. A table cannot overlap
with a Powerpivot report, query results...
Any ideas on how to update the sheet?
