Question regarding linked cells/rows

Hi All,

I have a workbook that we use to track completion of audit tasks
The workbook is separated into 4 separate sheets.
The 'Main Sheet' lists all of the tasks (there's about 200)
Then there are 4 other sheets Sarah, John, Josh & Melissa - these sheets are copied from the main sheet based on who will complete the task
(People found sifting through all 200 items looking for their projects too annoying...)

I know how to link the rows/cells so that if someone enters something on their sheet it copies across to the main sheet.

My question is can we get it so that any formatting changes on the named sheets copy across to the main sheet - things like colour fill?

Thanks,

Pharmacisticus

Excel Facts

Copy formula down without changing references
If you have =SUM(F2:F49) in F50; type Alt+' in F51 to copy =SUM(F2:F49) to F51, leaving the formula in edit mode. Change SUM to COUNT.
Tell me how your doing it now.
Is there some identifier to match the row on the master to the row on Sarah's sheet?
Like a job number or such.
And are you willing to use Vba.
