Hi,
Something strange when using Queries:
I found a huge speed difference between these 2 situations :
Situation1:
- I make a first query "query1" and I do not load the result on a worksheet1
- I make a second query "query2" which call the "query1" by basically Source1 = query1 and do some other operations
Situation2:
- I make a first query "query1" and I load the result on a worksheet
- I make a second query "query2" which call the TABLE "query1" loaded on worksheet1 by basically Source1 = Excel.CurrentWorkbook(){[Name="Query1"]}[Content]
The first situation is very long to get the refresh, even time to get a coffee and back. The second one is only few seconds (refresh Query1 then Query2)
So for the moment I use Situation2 but I loose the dependencies.
Does somebody knows why Situation1 is much longer ??
Thanks!
