Hello,

Is there a formula that will look at two specific cells, in this example A1 = 2 & C1 = 5, and say if A1 and C1 differ by +/- 3 or less then D1 = "Y". If they don't meet the criteria then the cell would just be blank. Is this possible?

Thank in advance for the help.

Bill

How about
=IF(ABS(A1-C1)<=3,"y","")
