Query

I have a generated field value that looks like 1D04 or 2F04 or 3G04 or 4R04 where the the first number is the quarter this value was placed, the letter could be any of those for value and 04 is the last to numbers of the year.

I am trying to run a query on the information limited by the year and the quarter. I had tried using a between 1?04 and 4?04 but that does not get the items that are in quarter 4. How can i get all of the values?

Try using this as your criteria for year 2004:
Like "*04"

If you wanted just the data from first quarter 2004, you could use:
Like "1*04"
