I've got a access DB with a timestamp field (date & time) formatted as General Date/Time.
Trying to write a query to return records where [this time stamp field is] = todays date.

I've tried just about everything; PLease help!!!

Code:
StrSQL = "SELECT * FROM [table] WHERE DATE([timestamp]) = DATE() ORDER BY [timestamp] ASC"

Excel Facts

Links? Where??
If Excel says you have links but you can't find them, go to Formulas, Name Manager. Look for old links to dead workbooks & delete.
As long as the first DATE word you typed is not the name of a table field, you probably want
StrSQL = "SELECT * FROM
WHERE (
.[timestamp]) = (Format([CalendarDate],"Short Date")=Date()) ORDER BY
.[timestamp] ASC;"
or just
StrSQL = "SELECT * FROM
WHERE ([timestamp]) =(Format([CalendarDate],"Short Date")=Date()) ORDER BY [timestamp] ASC;"

Your problem (likely) is that Date() is a function that returns no time component, so you cannot compare it to a date/time field with time values because they are never equal. You have to "isolate" the date portion by using the Format function.
