Hello...I have a query that let's say returns

Billy 1
Bob 2
Joe 3

Now what I would like to do on a form or in a report is somehow put each one of those values in the second column into their own textboxes.

I have tried putting them in a sub report and a textbox with the query as it's control source and all that good stuff but that's not good enough because I can't see all the values in seperate textboxes in design mode....any ideas? Let me know if you need more info

Excel Facts

Using Function Arguments with nested formulas
If writing INDEX in Func. Arguments, type MATCH(. Use the mouse to click inside MATCH in the formula bar. Dialog switches to MATCH.
Update: I found this to put in the textbox control source =DLookUp("Column","[Query]") but how do I specify specific row?

If what you're saying is you want to split off the 1,2,3 then you will need one or more string functions. How many, and if you can even rely on this depends on what might come after the numeral. It might be as simple as the Val() function. Val("Bob 2") should return 2. Val("Bob 2 is your uncle") should also. Bob 2 something 23 I'm not sure of.
