Query Limit Field by greatest date

I have a query with a date field. How can I limit the query to only show me the greatest date even if other fields has data?

I tried to add Max and even Last in the Total row but it doesn't seem to eliminate the duplicates.

Any thoughts?

that will work as long as all you want to see is the date. However, if you also want to see the rest of the data on the record, then use DMax("DateFieldname", "table or query","criteria") in the criteria cell of the date.
