Hello,

My quandary is I have a formula (4,046 rows) that pulls data from columns to add in a pipe delimited format.
I need to make sure the formula is pulling from the same row for all columns.
So, within the formula I have a changing row number on a constant column look. Can anyone help?
Here is the formula I need to vet: "=ColumnsToText(B2:O2,"|")" It is simple but difficult to me this early.

Help?

Hi, it's not clear to me what exactly you need help with.

My version of Excel does not have the ColumnsToText formula, is it a UDF ? Or maybe a newer version of Excel ?
Either way, does the basic formula work for you ?
If yes, what do you need help with ?

Hi, Thanks for the reply.
It is not the formula I need help with.
I'll try to explain better.
Within that formula it calls for a row of information from B to O. This formula was copied down by someone in the worksheet. I need to check and make sure the columns and the row called in all 4,046 instances are exactly 1 row between column B and column O.
Basically a True/False statement would work, but I am having trouble figuring out how to compare for matching row (i.e., column B is pointing to row 2 and column O is pointing to row 2). Does that make sense?

If you doubt that it has been done correctly, why not repeat it ?

Check that one row is correct, then copy it all the way down.

That would work in most cases. This is a controlled GLP document that I cannot alter but can comment on.

Thanks for the help. I have fixed it.

Although you do not care, it is an acronym for Good Laboratory Practices, US FDA guidelines.
