Query Fields in Reports

I have writtena report based on a query. This query gets it's information from a table that gets filtered in a form. There can be up to five filters applied to this query. Each time I apply the filters, I then have to save the query (I name it the same thing so that it just overwrites itself). This filtered information then makes up my report. Is there any way to show what fields I choos to filter the query by?

Wildcard in VLOOKUP
Use =VLOOKUP("Apple*" to find apple, Apple, or applesauce
I would use a form to launch the report. You could then add controlls to the form and use these as the criteria source for your query. You can also link fields on the report directly to the form to get the criteria.

The only problem with doing that is that a lot of my data has the same criteria. If my report is generated from the form, I will not get the grouping that I am looking for because I will see multiple duplicates in my drop down boxes. Is there a formula that i can write for a text box, that will read what the data in the query is sorted on?
