I have a query and I am using the criteria "< 2" and it is giving me all number under 2 but also it is giving numbers from 10-19. Is there a reason for and how do I fix it?

Excel Facts

Return population for a City
If you have a list of cities in A2:A100, use Data, Geography. Then =A2.Population and copy down.
field format

What's the format of the field you're using the parameter on?

My guess is text. Change it to numeric (whichever type is appropriate)

If you must use text, you can change your parameter to something like.

Left(fldname,1) < '2'

This extracts a portion of the field (fldname) and only looks at the first character.
