Hi All,

I assume I am using Microsoft 365 therefore also assume I am using Excel 365.

I use a lot of macros stored in Personal.xlsb and my QAT (Quick Access Toolbar) is full of icons, in fact so much so that a second row would be beneficial.
This works well for me (except lack of a second row), and I know where each icon is and what is does, some I must use 200 times a day.
So far, so good.

Last Friday Microsoft did an update, Monday morning my QAT (Quick Access Toolbar) is showing the icon plus the file name and macro name. So quite long !
eg PERSONAL.XLSB!ThisIsMyMacro
The default icons like save & save_as are fine.

Any ideas how to fix this ?
Was the update flawed ?

Fixed.
There is a flag for "always show command labels" that was ticked. Un-ticking this flag has fixed the problem.
I did not know this flag existed, never used it in the last 20 years.

Solution
Right-click on QAT and from the pop-up menu select “Hide command labels”

Running a macro today, I see the update has amended my excel colour palette ('color' for any Americans out there).
So, penultimate column was blue, now it's pink.

Might seem small fry, but the colour-coding of blocks of data and/or formula in my (big) spreadsheets was for easy assimilation of large-ish areas. D'oh!
