Apologies if this has been asked for already.

Can you please put the code formatting buttons onto the Quick Reply toolbar? This would make it easier to format a code sample when I'm typing a response without having to switch to the full editor.

Thx,
Jimmy

Certain options are customizable, and others are not. While I do not know for sure, I am guessing this one may not be, as I am also on other sites that use the same software that have the exact same situation (no Code buttons in the Quick Reply toolbar).

Is anyone else on any other forums powered by vBulletin® Version 4.2.0 where the Code button is on the Quick Reply button?
If so, then we will at least know it is possible.

Excelforum does, though it's on 4.1.8 rather than 4.2

I have just learned that it is not a just a "switch that can be flipped", that it would require customization, something that we try to avoid doing too much of (more customization usually means more potential for issues).

Yeah EF has its fair share of those too. ;)

VBA Express has it, but they are on a previous version of vBulletin.

As I mentioned, the Admins said it is not a simple option to select, it requires customization, and for the sake of board stability, they are trying to avoid as much Customization as possible, at least for the time being (save for essential things).
