Pulse fllg & count label

Hi peoples; – I have a mental block every time I endeavour to process conditional counters where "next" count may be preceded by undefined row strings.

I have stated (as precisely as I'm able) the requirement below and posted an example with manual part- fill via dropbox link.

Please could someone be so kind as to provide a solution, thank you: -


Flag & count Label requirement:


System described is Real-time. The operation must be faultless. Look forward is NOT ALLOWED.

Please avoid the use of VLOOKUP &/or macro functions, thank you.



Col A & B are random strings of "1" or unknown events, i.e. x2 asynchronous binary pulse trains.

IF simultaneity occurs (i.e. A = 1 & B = 1) on same row; - flag "ERROR"


Process description:

A = 1 = Set / Reset flag & label

B₀ = 3 (i.e. the first B = 1 after the A = 1 = S/R is labelled #3)

B_n becomes B_n+1 each consecutive occurrence of pulse B = 1

thus

B₁ = 4

B₂ = 5 et seq.

until pulse A = 1 = Reset flag & count label… continue (repeat) process data loop

Pulse train "A" (above) is col. A and Pulse train "B" (above) is col. B

C5 thru C150 is manually filled example of the flag & count label requirement as described.

Colouration is ONLY present as visual aid.
