Hi all,

I'm new to the forum!!

I need a bit of help with regards to a marco.

I need to pull data from a few sheets within a folder in my documents.

Each file has pay elements payroll number and pension amount paid.

I need to be able to check if from the master file that an employee number is within the fexcel file for say july, if yes then pull the pension amount paid for July onto the master file.

Is this something anyone could provide me with the code for.

I am currently using a vlookup on the employee number as each file am using has the employee number however this is taken forever and a day to use as the amount of data and files i am using.

Thanks in advance

Excel Facts

Whats the difference between CONCAT and CONCATENATE?
The newer CONCAT function can reference a range of cells. =CONCATENATE(A1,A2,A3,A4,A5) becomes =CONCAT(A1:A5)
No takers then??
