What did Pito Salas invent?
Pito Salas, working for Lotus, popularized what would become to be pivot tables. It was released as Lotus Improv in 1989.
Maybe
Code:
Sub kevinb11()
   Dim i As Long

   For i = 1 To Sheets.Count
      Sheets("List").Cells(125, i) = Sheets(i).Name
   Next i
End Sub

Sounds almost like an Index tab, this code puts all of the tab names into a row of your choice (edit the code for desired row):

Code:
Sub IndexColumns()
Dim i As Integer
Dim yourRow As Integer
yourRow = 1
    For i = 1 To ActiveWorkbook.Sheets.Count
        Cells(yourRow, i).Value = Worksheets(i).Name
    Next i
End Sub
