Publishing in Word

Hi guys

I know the issues that come with publishing to Word ie. lost formatting etc., but it doesn't also display check box data (ie. from Yes/No data type fields) - am I right in saying this? If so, how can I get around it? I know I could use snapshot viewer, but I want it in Word

If I am wrong and it should be printing check box data, then I wonder what I am doing wrong (but I have checked this with a number of different databases on different machines and it still does not print any check box data)

Anyone help??

Cheers

Jace

Hi Jace
What is it that you are trying to do? Are you trying to copy the data from a table into Word? Or are you trying to do this from either a form or report?
Andrew. :)

Hi Andrew

I am exporting a report into Word and it's only then do I lose all the check box data. I suppose one way around it is to display the data as either Yes or No but a check box looks neater

Hi, MS technet wasn't much help. The only way I can get it to retain the check box is by exporting it as a snapshot file and then dragging and dropping that file into a Word document.
