I want to provide a gap analysis of Sales performance based on orders and pipeline versus a manager's sales forecast. The sales forecast is based on the latest information from the sales team and can change daily. I have all the orders and pipeline data in tables and created my visuals, but the final visual is the "Gap to Sales Forecast." Since the sales forecast can change daily, I want a field in the published PBI where someone can manually type in their "Sales Forecast," and the PBI does the gap analysis.

How do I create a field in a published PBI where a user can type a number and use this number in a calculation?

Thanks

Does the VLOOKUP table have to be sorted?
No! when you are using an exact match, the VLOOKUP table can be in any order. Best-selling items at the top is actually the best.
You can't. In a Power BI dashboard, you are not able to put in data like you can in Excel.

What you can do, is to link an Excel file to which you refer in your Power BI report. In the next refresh you will see the changes.
