I have an Access report that looks fine in Access and prints out ok. But, when I publish to Word, the headings get all messed up. For example,

In access the column heading is like this:

Column 1 Column 2 Column 3 Column 4
This Last Variance Comment
Year Year (+/-)

After I publish to Word they become

Column 1 This Year Column 2
Last Year Column 3 Vaiance
(+/-) Column 4 Comment

Any idea what is happening and if not, does anyone know if you can create a pdf directly from Access, becasue that is what I am ultimately trying to do is get the report from Access to Word to pdf.

Thanks
Jeff

How to create a cell-sized chart?
Tiny charts, called Sparklines, were added to Excel 2010. Look for Sparklines on the Insert tab.
Yes, you can publish directly from Access to PDF pretty easily and cheaply. See this site: http://www.pdf995.com. I use it and it works great.

Another option, which is free, is you can print Access reports to a Snapshot file, which is sort of like Access's version of PDF writer. The good thing about that is it is free and is already built into Access. Then people can view the output by downloading the free Snapshot Viewer program from the Micrsoft web site.
