I have a huge spreadsheet of locations with lat and log. I need to calculate the distance between all locations from each other within a specific state, as well as finding the locations closest to each other. I have the basic formula for calculating distance between point A and point B.

Is this even possible?

Thanks all in advance!!

You can teach Excel a new custom list. Type the list in cells, File, Options, Advanced, Edit Custom Lists, Import, OK
Welcome to the forum.

Perhaps the reason no one has replied to your query is because it would appear to be a colossal undertaking to do all you mention with your huge number of lat/longs.

If you could make a small sample workbook using a limited number of lat/longs and post a link to the workbook here, I would at least take a look at it to see I could get started doing what you want.

Use can use one of the link utilities to post a link, I use Drop Box but there are others. You cannot attach a workbook to this forum.

Explain in detail, plain talk, what you want to happen and where you want it to happen. Refer to sheets by name and rows and columns by numbers and such.
