Protection for Conditional Formating

I am using excel 2010. I need to protect my worksheet's conditional formatting but I still need to allow others to "Cut/paste" or "Select and drag" contents from other cells WITHOUT changing any conditional formatting in the cell contents were cut from.
Thanx for your help.
 

Excel Facts

Select all contiguous cells
Pressing Ctrl+* (asterisk) will select the "current region" - all contiguous cells in all directions.
