Protecting worksheet windows

I have protected my workbook by;
Tools>Protection>Protect Workbook
then selected 'structure' and 'windows'.
This works great, except, the resulting window size is not full
screen, and therefore users must scroll to input data.
With the window 'protected' is there anyway it can be increased in
size or maximised, so I can see all data on screen?

Are you saying that the window size changes after you protect it? If that is wht you're saying then that's strange. However, if not, then just change the window size before you protect it. Is that not an option?

I have also met this problem and will be interested in its resolution.

It would appear that the action of selecting Protection of Windows has this effect, which in my case was not apparent until the programme was reopened whereupon the resulting window was approximately 25% of the screen size. (see next para)

After a lot of investigation (mostly unnecessary) I discovered that the opening size of the workbook was governed by the size that the window would adopt were it to be in the 'restore' window size. I set my programme window size to the limits of the window and then it was useable.

Not a very satisfactory answer so please somebody come up with a more definitive one.

:confused:
