Question: I added an Excel workbook with multiple tabs to SharePoint. The workbook has macros that protect and unprotect the worksheets, which work perfectly on my local machine but stop functioning once uploaded to SharePoint. Is there a way to make this work, or is it not feasible? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

When did Power Query debut in Excel?
Although it was an add-in in Excel 2010 & Excel 2013, Power Query became a part of Excel in 2016, in Data, Get & Transform Data.
Once in SharePoint, if it opens in Excel for web, macros will not run. It must be running in the desktop app.

You can force it to open in the desktop app. In SharePoint, there is a setting...you may need the site owner to change it if you don't have access.
