Protecting a worksheet (to keep headers and footers)

Is there any way of having a worksheet that does not allow the user to amend the headers and footers - but they can still amend the rest of the sheet???

(I have basically spent months producing these plans and want my name on the top-I know that someone may change this and take all the credit!!)

I'm using Excel 97.

I remember last week many discussions were going in this forum regarding this. One thing was to writing a VBA to add new header while printing the sheet.
