I have some older workbboks which I am attempting to open in Excel 2016, but open in 'Protected View' with a message 'Office has detected a problem with this file. Editing may harm yourcomputer...

When I click on Excel 2016 Help, the following message appears:
Exit Protected View and edit when the red Message Bar appears

  1. Click File > Edit Anyway.

But when I click on File there is nos such option 'Edit Anyway'.

    Can someone please help?

    thanks

Excel Facts

Formula for Yesterday
Name Manager, New Name. Yesterday =TODAY()-1. OK. Then, use =YESTERDAY in any cell. Tomorrow could be =TODAY()+1.
Try right clicking on the file ...Properties.....General.....Unblock.

Be sure you are happy with the file though
