Proposed change to trend line

Hi all, first time poster - long time reader.

I am trying to put together a report that shows a bunch of graphs which display the impact of a proposed transaction.

i.e. Sales trend - showing the past 12 months (including current month) of sales for "Customer A" on a simple line graph and placing a trend line on it. <- that's the easy part.

But on that, displaying a hypothetical or proposed change. i.e. sales this month are sitting at $10,000 (which the line graph will show) but if this proposed 'deal' goes ahead which has a value of $2,000 the months sales would be $12,000. So i would like to show the ACTUAL line and also the PROPOSED line so the impact of the change is displayed. Also, i'd like this to show on both the line graph AND the trend line to show if this is going to have a positive or negative affect to average monthly sales. I've managed to come up with a work around for the first part and add a second axis to the line graph (maybe not the best way?) but can't work out how to show this on the trend line..

This is just an example.. i'll be using the same logic over different graphs which show average gross profit percentage and number of other metrics..

Hopefully that all makes sense!

TIA
