I have a form with a subform. The subform is a questionaire form. on the main form I have a button when click on will calculate the correct number of answers on the subform. However when I click on this button a want the subform to be lock so the answers can't be changed

Any suggestions on how to do this?

Excel Facts

Pivot Table Drill Down
Double-click any number in a pivot table to create a new report showing all detail rows that make up that number
You shouldn't really need to lock it as the calculations should be almost instantaneous, but if you really want to lock it...

Your subform should have a name (the default is Child1, but you can change that). So at the beginning of your code behind your button, put something like:

Me.Child1.Locked = True

and at the end,

Me.Child1.Locked = False
