Project Plan in MS Excel

Hello everyone,

Quick question here - I downloaded one of Microsoft's sample project plan templates.

As I started tweaking it, I noticed underlying logic seemed to stop working.

The cells have a progress bar, so whatever percentage amount you put in the bar in the cell adjust to show.... so 50% 1/2 the cell gets shaded etc...

It looks like there was some dependencies on other cells, so now when I put in 50%... it shows 50% but the shading goes back to 0-10%

I am more than happy to just reformat all of the columns I need but not sure how to do it?

Thanks

Excel Facts

Control Word Wrap
Press Alt+Enter to move to a new row in a cell. Lets you control where the words wrap.
I know it probably has to do with conditional formatting, but trying to figure out the logic that's there.. may just be cleaner to remove everything and start fresh?

An example here is if I put say 25% in the cell, I would expect the cell to fill up 25% but regardless what I put in it just defaults to 50%

Conditional Formatting Rules Manager --> Format All Cells Based on Their Values

Format Style: Data Bar

Type: Minimum - Lowest Value & Maximum Highest Value

Fill: Gradient

Bar Direction: Context
