Hi all,

I have a problem that I am struggling to crack and wondered if anyone woulf be able to help.

I have 10 separate Project files. These are brought together in a master Project file (all 10 are embedded in the master). The master file is linked to a separate resource pool file. There are many resources across many resource groups. Soem of these resources are assigned to multiple projects.

I really want to be able to export data to Excel 2003, so that I can re-format it and produce a report for management. The idea is to show, for the next 18 months, By Resource Group then by Project Name then by Resource Name, how much work is assigned. This should help the managers of each Resource Group (e.g. Finance, HR) plan how many resources the various projects will need over the coming 18 months.

My feeling is that I will need the following data, but I can't seem to export it all. I'm reasonably happy with VBA (although I am much more familiar with Excel than Project). Ron Gill's excellent Project Control Centre has got me some of the way there, but I still can't get all of this data in to Excel:

Project name (one of the 10); Resource Group (e.g. Finance, HR), Resource Name (e.g. John Smith), then for each of the following 18 months, how much work is assigned. The export doesn't necessarily need to be in this order as I can re-format it in Excel as required.

Thanks in advance for any help :)

Cheers,
SeamusF.
