I'm attempting to create a tracker to move candidates through a recruitment process. Part of this includes totalling how many people are in each stage of the process (Screening, Recruiting, Exams & Applications, Onboarding, and Contracting). I've been using a COUNTIF statement to total as certain cells are filled out pertaining to each stage, but of course that's tallying the same person as a "1" as they pass each category.
(ie. If someone has passed screening, recruiting, exams, and onboarding, they are showing up in the totals as "1" in each.)
Any advice on how I can move someone through the process so if they pass "screening" and move to "recruiting", the total number of "screening" reduces and the recruiting total increases? It was suggested I try subtracting the last COUNTIF total from the second last COUNTIF total, but that doesn't seem to work.
