Using Mac OS Monterey v. 12.7.2
I have a number of sheets that I need to adjust formatting to highlight rows when a cell in a column is not blank.
When I enter the formula: =$N5<>"" it doesn't apply the formatting. I have to go back and edit the rule because now it looks like this: ="$N5<>"""". So I remove the superfluous quotation marks, click OK and then it works. I don't understand why it's doing this and am hoping someone can enlighten me. Maybe I'm doing something wrong. I have a lot of sheets to go through and it would be nice not to have to go back each time to edit.
Thanks much in advance.
