Simple question. I am familiar with sumproduct, but I want it the other way around -- i want to take the product of sums. any ideas?

Give a small example with the expected result.

Suppose we have two columns. one is a vector of ones, and the other of threes. what i want is something that gives me (1*3)+(1*3)+ . . . for the lentgth of the vector.

Let A1:B3 house

{1,3;1,3;1,3}

=SUMPRODUCT(A1:A3,B1:B3)

gives 9.
