I can see the list of built-in functions when using 'Insert Function', i.e. ABS, ACCRINT, ACCRINTM, etc.

Is there a way to publish that formula list to a worksheet?

Excel Facts

Add Bullets to Range
Select range. Press Ctrl+1. On Number tab, choose Custom. Type Alt+7 then space then @ sign (using 7 on numeric keypad)
So many sources of information are available online, like: Excel functions (by category) - Microsoft Support

Or you could use the internal dialog box to choose a Function and get information

That wasn't my question...

If there are 500 functions available to me in my version of Excel, then I'd like a list of them in A1:A500.

I don't believe there is a feature to automatically add all the function names into an Excel sheet. Somebody might have created that at one time, but Microsoft is adding Functions all the time.
