Problems with Pivot Table Custom Styles

When I attempt to make a custom pivot table style and apply it, only certain aspects seem to work, for example, a header row. However, when I try to add striped lines to a custom style and apply the style, the striped lines do not show up. Does anybody know why I may be having a problem with the custom styles? Thanks a lot!
 

Excel Facts

Spell Check in Excel
Press F7 to start spell check in Excel. Be careful, by default, Excel does not check Capitalized Werds (whoops)
If correctly understood, then you need the “whole table” parameter (see the photo).
