Problems Linking Table to Excel After Renaming Worksheet

Hi guys,

I linked a table to an Excel spreadsheet. I've later changed the names of the worksheet tabs in Excel. Now I'm getting an error because Access can't locate the sheets. I would like to keep the names of the sheets as they were updated, and not change them back to their original names. Is there a way I can update links on Access to point to the new sheet names?

Thanks

How to fill five years of quarters?
Type 1Q-2023 in a cell. Grab the fill handle and drag down or right. After 4Q-2023, Excel will jump to 1Q-2024. Dash can be any character.
Can't you just goto Get External Data again?

Thanks Norie. Thats what I ended up doing. I was just trying to save myself time by not having to readjust my queries as well.

So I guess my original question isn't possible?

Take a look at Linked Table Manager under Tools>Database Utilities.

I've used it before but not for a long time and that was dealing with data that was being moved on a network rather than renamed sheets.
