Problems Copying a column pattern

Hey everyone. I'm having an issue using the pull/copy (dragging by the corner) for a pattern that skips columns from another sheet.

Example (This is my formula for the first 5 rows, but I need to copy them down keeping the pattern going until 340)

NPC'!$B$7
NPC'!$E$7
NPC'!$H$7
NPC'!$K$7
NPC'!$N$7

How can I grab and copy down the rest of my column so that the column letter keeps skipping the next 2 columns when I drag it down? B --> E --> H-->K-->N

Any help would be great! Thanks!

Hi arooney88 - You might try defining a Named Range and then put in the parameters:

=arooney88!$B7:$B$340,arooney88!$E$7:$E$340,arooney88!$H$7:$H$340

This assumes a sheet name of arooney88.

Hey everyone I got advice on a solution that seemed to work for me.

Since I couldn't figure out a way to drag and drop and have everything copy correctly someone suggested formatting the column differently and that worked. What I did was highlighted the whole column and made everything Italic. Then I did a find/replace function searching for what I needed replaced (also searching for the Italic formatting) and then replacing with what I needed. After I replaced everything I just un-italicized everything and that seemed to be a quick fix to my problem.
