Hi,

I have a similar problem as in this previous post: http://www.mrexcel.com/forum/power-bi/784856-problem-table-import-wizard.html.

I am using Excel 2013 and after a reinstall of Office I can no longer access the table import wizard when editing queries.

Table Import Wizard as previously used and which is still available when creating queries:

Now when editing queries and clicking "Design":

I no longer get the import wizard, just the query editor:

Does anybody have an idea what could fix this? Any help would be much appreciated, as so far I haven't found any fix for this issue.
Thanks and greetings,
Hagen

Best way to learn Power Query?
Read M is for (Data) Monkey book by Ken Puls and Miguel Escobar. It is the complete guide to Power Query.
Well I just tested it and it works for me. Have you changed anything since you imported it? Maybe you can test it yourself with a new workbook. Import a simple table, then try the editor again. If it works, then maybe something has happened to prevent further changes. for example, in the regular SQL import wizard, you can select from the table GUI until you make changes to the SQL script. Once you make manual changes, there is no chance to go back to the GUI. Maybe it is the same here.
