I have created bar graphs from pivot tables and inserted them as separate worksheets (in excel 2003). I want to change the size of the plot area and move the legend. When I hide PivotChart field buttons and click on plot area the double sided arrow appears when I mouse over the black boxes on the boarder of plot area, but it wont let me change the size. I also can not move the legend. It just seems that these options available for regular charts are not possible for pivot charts. Am I missing something here?

The degree of customizability of a PivotTable / PivotChart is indeed less than that of 'regular' range / chart.

Keep in mind that even if you can change some features, it is possible Excel will undo the changes when you next refresh the PT/PC.
