Hi,

I have a table with combinations sets generated in numerical order with a formula that highlight in red when the number are not in numerical order.
But it doesn't work all the time, many time what I do is that I open the CF tab, click on the red formula click my cursor in that formula without changing anything then click Ok and it work !
But it's really annoying to do that each time.
Why the CF don't work automatically ?
I may have to change something to make it works every time, can someone tell me what is wrong with it, Please ?

Thank you.

Excel Facts

Return population for a City
If you have a list of cities in A2:A100, use Data, Geography. Then =A2.Population and copy down.
Change the OR to AND, and change the equality.
Excel Formula:
=AND($X5:$AA5>=$W5:$Z5)

Thank you myall_blues, Your formula is good but do the opposite of mine.

My formula does it's purpose, the problem with it is that it doesn't work automatically, so is there something to tic in the CF window or putting the formula first I'm not sure why it doesn't work automatically ???

Yes you're correct sorry - I got slightly confused.

What other CF formulas cover the same range? Can you post a picture of all CFs - it was a bit quick in the video. From what I did see I think you need to tick 'Stop if True' for that condition.

Red =OR($X5:$AA5<=$W5:$Z5)
Green =AND($W5=$W$2,$X5=$X$2,$Y5=$Y$2,$Z5=$Z$2,$AA5=$AA$2)
Grey =$AA$2
Grey =$Z$2
Etc...
