Reference – Excel from MS Office 365 working in windows 10:
Since I am not a real programmer I need some help. Since obtaining Windows 10 and Excel in MS Office 365, I cannot create dynamic charts the same way I did under previous versions of Excel and Windows. I can still create static charts by the same method, but I can’t make them go dynamic. I used to modify the static chart formula for the source data in the formula bar by simply substituting the appropriate name range for the corresponding static cells. When I executed by depressing enter, Excel previously created the dynamic formula on its own and updated the charts. Now, not only does it not do that, but I cannot get the cursor to leave the formula bar; instead I have use the task manager to close the program, which of course leaves me with a static chart instead of a dynamic chart. This is the only way I know to make static formulas become dynamic. Am I doing something wrong? Does Excel from Office 365 working under Windows 10 no longer have that capability? What can I do to get around this problem?
