I have a "volume" column that is based on total sales and is split up into 4 catagories in an Excel PivotTable. However, I want to subdivide each of these 4 volume levels by the top 50% and a bottom 50% in each of the 4 catagories, with a subtotal for each of these top and bottom "groups" in every sales catagory.
I have the data already sorted properly in the Pivot, but am just not sure how to go about grouping each one and adding in the subtotal without having to mess with the data, as there are about 7,000 lines. Thanks.
Also, I am using Excel 2010
