I am using Access 97. I have a datasheet form with the following properties.
Record Locks: No locks
Recordset Type: Dynaset
Allow Edits: Yes
Allow Deletions: No
Allow Additions: Yes
Data Entry: No

My problem is that it won't let me edit fields. I can change the data in a field, but as soon as I select a field in another row the changes I made will revert back to what they were.

When I run the forms record source query seperate, I can edit the fields just fine.

Has anyone had this problem before?

How to total the visible cells?
From the first blank cell below a filtered data set, press Alt+=. Instead of SUM, you will get SUBTOTAL(9,)
um

You've pretty much diagnosed the problem. If the query works fine, it must be some property in the form. I'll be vague - try fiddling with the properties like dataentry & deletions.
