Excel Facts

How to find 2nd largest value in a column?
MAX finds the largest value. =LARGE(A:A,2) will find the second largest. =SMALL(A:A,3) will find the third smallest
either make a report using only these fields,
or
a query that opens using only these fields,
from a button (turn the wizard on, then place the button)

you must include the KEY field id in the query to it only pulls 1 record:

select * from table where [id]=forms!frmDetail!txtID

If your report is based on a table, you will have to apply a report filter. Better to be based on a query like ranman suggests.
