Hi,

Wondering if someone could point me in the right direction here. We have excel documents from which we print information on labels (zebra printer) I was wondering if it would be possible to set it up so that the specific cells we manually copy to the zebra label could be automatically added onto the label.

Our label looks like this

The data we currently manually input from our excel sheet is from the following cells on the excel sheet ()...

Job number: (H1)
Customer: (C6)
Product Code: (C13)
Title: (C13) *this may seen odd as its the same as above but for now that would be fine
Customer order No: (C17)
Box Qty (this would still need to be manually input)

The label could be set differently if it meant this would work but I wanted to find out if this was even possible as I don't quite understand how this could be done from excel, I don't think its possible to make a button in excel that prints to the Zebra printer but I could be wrong. Any suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Dan

I did this before. You need to set up a form that reads those cells. The form will have to be adjusted many times using row heights and column widths until you get it just right on the printer. You can make a macro to print that form. I had the form hidden so people couldn't make changes and mess it up.

Making macros print to specific printers isn't easy as far as I'm concerned. I did it for a couple clients though. I can post that later. I have to find it. just remind me.
