Why is it that sometimes the boxes for Rows to repeat at top and columns to repeat at left are ghosted and other times they are not?? These option are located in the print setup window on the sheet tab.

Excel Facts

How to create a cell-sized chart?
Tiny charts, called Sparklines, were added to Excel 2010. Look for Sparklines on the Insert tab.
When you activate page setup from within print preview, there are a few changes that are inaccessible (print titles, print area, whether to print comments). When you activate page setup directly, all features are available.

I hope that it made sense to the programmers, because it seems silly now.

It does seem silly - I found that if I highlight the rows I want to print on each page and then activate print setup it allows me to establish rows to print at the top of each page.

Big run on sentence - yikes anyway thanks for the information
